GIMV is a Belgian investment company, established in 1980. Since 1997 it is quoted on Euronext Brussels. GIMV specializes in investing in the equity of unlisted companies (private equity).
Growth is essential for GIMV, because it:
- increases the value of its shareholdings
- generates profits when selling these interests
- provides the resources for new investments
In addition to its capital investment, GIMV therefore also contributes knowledge and experience. By doing so, GIMV aims at reinforcing and supporting the growth of its portfolio companies.
