Legallais was established in 1889 and has become the reference in the French market when it comes to the distribution of ironmongery. The company acts as a one-stop-shop for general building and housing finishing works (building products, consumables, tools, plumbing products, electricity products,…), with an extensive and high quality product offering for craftsman, building operators and maintenance companies. These clients are being served through multiple distribution channels, being direct sales, online channels and several own points of sale. Both product availability, as well as an automated and efficient logistics service (with next day delivery) have resulted in an excellent customer service which continuously drives customer satisfaction.
Besides a strong presence in France (through Legallais and several other French subsidiaries), the company is also active in Germany and Poland. The group employs about 1.000 people and realized a turnover of EUR 225 million in 2015.
