Central Europe & Russia

Gimv has been active in Central Europe and Russia since the mid-1990s. This allows Gimv to respond to opportunities now arising in this rapidly developing region.

In Russia Gimv is represented by Eagle Venture Partners, a fund manager based in Moscow. The 4-member local investment team consists of Russian and West European professionals, who have already been working together with great success for several years. For more information, please visit www.evp.ru.

Gimv is also present on the Russian territory via the CapMan Russia Fund. This fund was established in 2009 and is focusing on mid-sized Russian companies.

In Central Europe, Gimv has representatives in Prague and Warsaw. In 2009, Gimv invested in Genesis Private Equity Fund II, a fund focusing on mid-market investments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition, manages its own fund: Gimv Czech Ventures. This fund was established in 2000 and is currently in its winding-up phase.
