In the list below, their names are marked with an asterisk (*). The other members are appointed from among candidates proposed by the remuneration committee.

Dr. Urbain Vandeurzen is Chairman of the Board of Directors of LMS International, where he also holds the position of CEO since 1980.
He also is Honorary Chairman of VOKA-Vlaams Economisch Verbond. Before he was Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium, Vice-Chairman of Agoria Flanders and Vice-Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Leuven. Previously he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Scia, Flander’s Drive and, until recently, Director of Barco. He is also involved in the educational reform and the innovation policy in Flanders, more specifically as Chairman of the Commission “Accent op Talent” of the King Baudouin Foundation and as Director of the Prince Albert Fund, Flanders Technology International (FTI) and the “Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek” (FWO). At the Catholic University of Leuven, he is a member of the Senate. In his position as Chairman of VOKA-VEV, he also was strongly involved in defining the transformation program “Vlaanderen in Actie”.
During his flourishing career, he received various awards such as the four nominations for “Trends Entrepreneur of the Year” and with his company he was laureate of the award “Most Innovative Company” and “Company of the year”, presented by the Flemish Government.
Dr. Urbain Vandeurzen has previously been on the Board of Directors of Gimv from 1996 until 2003.

Koen Dejonckheere was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Gimv in 2008. Before, he was Managing Director and head of Corporate Finance at KBC Securities, where he made major contributions to the European expansion of the corporate finance activities.
Previously, Koen Dejonckheere worked for Nesbic, Halder, Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance Europe and the former BBL, now ING. Koen Dejonckheere has extensive experience as a dealmaker in investment banking and private equity in Belgium and abroad. In recent years, he has become one of the authorities amongst Belgian investment bankers.
Koen Dejonckheere holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ghent and an MBA from IEFSI in Lille (France).

Dirk Boogmans has been a director and advisor of companies since 2008. Previously he was CEO at Gimv and construction group CFE.
He is chairman of the board of directors at Caesar Real Estate Fund and Global Lifting Partners (part of the Arcomet Groep). Furthermore, he chairs the QAT Fondsen advisory committees as well as the Noriant concession group, the Hercules Invest commission, the VUB and UZ Brussels audit committees and the Flemish Council for Science and Innovation (Vlaamse Raad voor Wetenschap en Innovatie, VRWI). He is a member of the Boards of Directors of P&V, Vivium, BNP Paribas Fortis Bank, Vinçotte Groep and Ethias Finance. He has been a director in the Gimv board of directors since June 2010.

Christ’l Joris is chairwoman of Agoria and Flanders Investment & Trade, the board of directors of ETAP and the Parfibel board of commissioners. She started her career as an academic. Subsequently, she worked in mental healthcare and at the King Baudouin Foundation.
She is a member of the VBO executive committee and holds a seat in the Group Joos board of directors as well as in the general assemblies of UZA and Technopolis. She has been a member of the Gimv board of directors since June 2010.

Sophie Manigart is professor Accounting and Corporate Financing at the faculty Economics and Business Administration of Ghent University. Additionally, she is a partner at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, where she is the programme director of the Master in Financial Management.
Currently, Sophie Manigart also teaches at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid as a visiting professor. She holds a seat in the Flemish Council for Science and Innovation (Vlaamse Raad voor Wetenschap en Innovatie, VRWI). She has been a member of the Gimv board of directors since June 2010.

Martine Reynaers is CEO of Reynaers Aluminium NV, one of the market leaders of Europe in the field of high quality construction aluminum systems. She is also a manager with VBO (Association of Belgian Companies) and member of the general meeting and board of directors of Voka – Vlaams Economisch Verbond (Flemish network of enterprises – Flemish Economic Treaty), member of the board of directors of Business & Society Belgium and of UAMS (Universiteit Antwerpen Management School).
She is a member of the board of directors of Gimv since 1999.

Eric Spiessens is a member of the Executive Committee of the Arco Group, a holding company of the cooperative movement that operates mainly in banking and insurance, utilities and medicines distribution.
He has been a Gimv board member since 1999. He is also a board member of the various Arco companies and of several companies in which the Arco Group has shareholdings.

Dr. Christine Van Broeckhoven is doctor in the molecular biology and started her own laboratory for Neurogenetica in 1989, which is part of the Born-Bunge Institute. From the beginning, she was involved with genetic research of memory illnesses such as Alzheimer dementia. Her work received various scientific awards, such as the prestigious American Potamkin Price (1993), the Joseph-Maisin of the Nationaal Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (National Fund for Scientific Research) (1995), which is awarded every five years, the International Award for Women in Science (Europe) of L’Oreal/Unesco (2006) and the European Inventor Award for Research of the European Patent Office (EPO) (2011).
She is a member by association of the Koninklijke Vlaamse Academie voor Wetenschappen en Kunst (Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts), was presented with the medal of Grand Officer of the Leopold Ordre by the Belgian Royal Family and received the “Chevalier dans la Légion d’Honneur” of president Sarkozy. Dr. Christine van Broeckhoven served on the board of director of Gimv from 2005 until 2007.

Johan Van den Driessche is director at various companies. He is also director of the Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel, The “Huis van het Nederlands”, Brussel and the Voka-Comité Brussel (Flemish network of enterprises Brussels), where he held the position of chairman from 2002 until 2004.
Previously, he was associated with KPMG, as chairman of KPMG EU Tax Centre, managing partner of KPMG tax and legal advisors and a member of the management committee/board of directors of KPMG Belgium. He was also a docent at VLEKHO and what is now called the Antwerp Management School, and a member of the management committee of Verbond van Belgische Ondernemingen VBO (Association of Belgian Companies).

He is a member of the investment committee of several internationally operating private equity funds and Senior Advisor of Sal. Oppenheim Private Equity Partners.
He has been an independent board member of Gimv since 2005.

Francis Vanderhoydonck held director mandates in numerous companies since 1999 and is, at present, independent director in listed companies (Resilux, Option), as well as non-listed companies (Essers Transport & Logistics, Denderland-Martin, Mintjens Meubelfabrieken, Groep Jansen Afwerkingsbedrijven, Ellimetal, Beta-Cell, ALRO, Groep Biesmans). He is also advisor corporate finance at Maple Finance Group en administrator of the Buy Out Fund since 1998. Before that, he worked as a manager at the department “Corporate & Investment Banking” of the Generale Bank.
