Ivo Vincente (1975) has been working with Gimv since 2002. He leads the Dutch Buyouts & Growth team. Through the years he gained a lot of experience with numerous growth and buyout transactions. Before joining Gimv, he worked with Alpinvest Partners and PwC.
He has been involved among others in the investments in Muelink & Grol, Holonite, Bever Zwerfsport, Geveke, De Groot International, OGD, Studiekring and Oldelft Ultrasound.
Ivo Vincente has a master's degree in fiscal law from the University of Leiden (the Netherlands).

Description

De Groot International is an international importer, distributor and exporter of fruit and vegetables. Over the past 50 years it has grown from a small fruit trading company into a leading organization in its field with over 100 employees. At the start of 2008, De Groot took a majority shareholding in Borgers Groothandel in Groenten en Fruit, strengthening its position in Germany and Scandinavia. Retail organizations are major De Groot customers. As well as traditional trading and cold storage, De Groot International has computer-controlled banana ripening chambers, packaging lines and its own transportation enterprise.
