Sander van Vreumingen (1976) joined Gimv in 2001 as an investment manager. After a certain time he started working for Pon, one of the largest Dutch family-owned companies, as Business Development Manager, where he realized an operational merger between a number of international subsidiaries responsible for sales and maintenance of ship engines. He rejoined Gimv in 2006. Sander van Vreumingen has a master's degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University, Rotterdam (the Netherlands).

Over the past ten years Sander has been involved in - among others - the investments in Belair, Euretco, Tissage de Kalken, FCS, ANP, Geveke, Hebu, BMC, Numac and Bandolera. He currently holds board seats at BMC and Numac.

BMC Groep is the Dutch market leader in professional services for the public sector (government and non-profit organizations). The company was established in 1986. Almost 1,100 professionals, often coming from governmental organizations, educational and social institutions and from other public bodies, are working in the company’s 6 offices spread over the Netherlands. BMC Groep centralizes 4 different companies: BMC, TMOP, XOPP and PublicSpirit. BMC is specialized in change management, organizational advice, coaching and training. TMOP focuses on interim management and project support. XOPP mainly seconds (administrative) support staff, whereas PublicSpirit recruits and selects executives, directors and supervisors.
