Gimv achieves an average annual return of over 13%. This impressive performance makes Gimv one of Belgium's most important private equity and venture capital providers, as well as a major international market player. Gimv currently manages around EUR 1.8 billion of assets. In the future, Gimv will continue to target returns that are in line with its past performance.

Solid structure

1.  Gimv undertakes management buyouts and provides growth capital to established companies both in Belgium and abroad. Local teams in Belgium, France, The Netherlands and Germany concentrate on these activities.
    
2. Gimv makes venture capital investments in companies in the technology, life sciences and cleantech sector. For each of these three areas, Gimv has set up a dedicated team of experts.
    
3. For specific growth markets, like Russia, and particular asset types, e.g. infrastructure, Gimv cooperates with experienced parties to establish funds & joint ventures. 

Gimv is backed by a strong international network, thanks to investments in specialist partnerships in countries around the world, including Israel, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and Scandinavia.
