Partners' Council

The Partners' Council has been operating since mid-May 2009 and brings together fourteen employees (of the partner level) and the CEO. The Partners' Council is a discussion forum, a sounding board and breeding ground for various projects in the medium and long term with regard to strategy, HR, marketing and further growth of the company. It seeks an adequate and relevant interaction between members; a maximum cross-fertilization of expertise, insights and vision within Gimv. The Partners' Council meets once a quarter.

Patrick Van Beneden has worked at Gimv since 1985. He joined the Executive Committee in 2001. He heads up the Life Sciences business unit. 

He is a board member of various listed and non-listed investees, including deVGen, Avalon Pharmaceuticals and the Biotech Fonds Vlaanderen. Patrick Van Beneden has a degree in Financial Sciences from VLEKHO in Brussels (Belgium).
