As Executive Vice-President Peter Maenhout is responsible for the Gimv-XL fund and the Belgian buyout and growth capital activities. Before joining Gimv, he was head of the Benelux office for investment manager Amber Capital. Prior to that, he was active in mergers & acquisitions and equity capital market transactions at Petercam and Generale Bank.
In his various functions he has been working closely together with management teams of both private and public companies, but also with their shareholders and entrepreneurs and this across a wide variety of industries in the Benelux.
Peter Maenhout holds Master Degrees in International Relations (UG) and in Finance (Vlerick) as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Alain Keppens (1967) joined Gimv in 1991 and supervises the Belgian Buyouts & Growth team. Over the years he has gained extensive experience through many growth capital and buyout transactions.
He is currently a board member of several companies, including Alfacam, Grandeco, Scana Noliko and Lintor-Verbinnen.
Alain Keppens has a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and an MBA from Marquette University (United States).

Peter Kloeck (1963) joined Gimv in 2000. Active in the private equity industry for more than 10 years, he is familiar with all aspects of management buyouts, buyins and growth capital. He started his career at Bank Degroof, where he successfully concentrated on Institutional Asset Management, Private Banking and Investment Banking. In 1997, he became Secretary-General of Degroof Investments, the private equity fund of the Degroof group.
Peter Kloeck is a member of the board of directors of various companies including Scana Noliko, Sfinc and Salsa Food Group.
He has a Master's degree in Law (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium) and in Economics (Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium).

Alain Grillaert (1969) has been working in private equity since 1998, including three years with West Private Equity (now Lyceum capital) in London. He is experienced in direct lead and co-lead investments, primarily mid market buyouts and growth financing transactions in Belgium, England and France.
Alain Grillaert serves on the board of several companies, including Verhaeren, Interbrush and Acertys.
He holds a degree in Applied Economics, with a major in Corporate Finance, from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA, Belgium).

Tom Van de Voorde (1971) joined Gimv in 2007. He focuses on counselling in management buyouts and investments in growth companies. He gained experience in investment banking at Bank Degroof, where he was Vice President Investment Banking & Private Equity and at NIBC Advisory in Brussels as Head of M&A.
He serves on the board of several companies, including Grandeco, Lintor/Verbinnen and Impression.
Tom Van de Voorde holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Kris De Brabandere (°1982) joined Gimv in 2009. Previously he worked as a management consultant at Accenture in its supply chain management team. For a number of multinational companies in various industries he realised cost optimisation projects in the areas of sourcing & procurement, logistics, inventory management and working capital.
Kris De Brabandere graduated as an electrotechnical engineer from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (USA).

Bart Houben (1981) has worked at Gimv since 2006. Before, he worked for OC&C Strategy Consultants, mostly in the Netherlands and in the UK, where he executed several commercial due diligences for big private equity houses.

Wouter Verlinden (1981) joined Gimv in July 2007. He started his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in audit and advisory and at Rabobank Belgium as corporate finance advisor in leveraged finance.
He holds a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Ghent (Belgium) and a Master's degree in General Management from the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School (Belgium).

Els De Cock (1977) joined Gimv in 2004. Before, she worked as a Financial Analyst, first for Nasdaq Europe, later for Belron International (Carglass).
Els De Cock holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and a Master in Finance from the Graduate Business School of Leuven (Belgium).
Guy Mampaey is in charge of special and large investment projects.

Guy Mampaey (1954) has worked at Gimv since 1981. He focuses on larger buyout transactions and on the relations with various European buyout funds in which Gimv is participating.
He is a member of the board of directors of various companies, including Acertys, PDC Brush and EBT. He is also member of several Advisory Committees of international funds.
Guy Mampaey holds a degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp (Belgium).
