Gimv’s Central European and Russian investments are managed by Jan Dewijngaert, Director, together with Radoslav Tausinger, Senior Investment Manager based in Prague and Marcin Leja, Senior Investment Manager based in Warsaw. In Russia, Gimv is represented by Eagle Venture Partners. This private equity consultancy has a 4-member local investment team of Russian and West European professionals, who have been working together with great success for several years.
The Central Europe & Russia division can also call upon the expertise of all of Gimv’s specialised teams and upon that of an in-house legal team.

Jan Dewijngaert (°1959) is Managing Director of Eagle Capital Partners and Gimv Czech Partners. He is a member of the Investment Committee of various funds and director of various companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
Jan Dewijngaert studied Civil Engineering and Industrial Policy at the KU Leuven. Before joining Gimv in 1989, he worked for 5 years for KBC Bank in Brussels, Bremen and New York.

Radoslav Tausinger (°1977) joined the Central Europe & Russia team in 2009. He is the local representative of Gimv in Prague. His previous experience includes investment banking, consulting and corporate finance, with projects based across Central and Western European countries. Most recently, he worked as a Director at UBS Investment Bank in London focusing on the Central & Eastern European markets. Earlier he worked at McKinsey & Company and Cesky Telecom, both in Prague.
Radoslav holds an MBA from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a PhD from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Marcin Leja (1980) joined the Central Europe & Russia team in 2011. He is the local representative of Gimv in Warsaw. His previous experience includes private equity and management consulting roles in Poland and other European countries. Most recently, he worked as an Investment Director at Opera – a leading Polish mutual funds manager where he was responsible for alternative investments including private equity. He also was member of the supervisory and management boards of numerous investee companies. Earlier in his career he worked inter alia for PwC and Andersen Business Consulting.
Marcin holds an MBA from the University of Bologna and is also Associate Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA qualified).
