Description

EcoPhos was founded in 1996 to develop novel patent-protected process technologies for producing phosphoric acid in a cheaper and more environmentally friendly manner. The Ecophos process considerably reduces the amount of waste produced while obtaining phosphoric acid. Besides the ecologic advantage, the application is also favourable logistically, as less storage space is required. The flexible technology also enhances the quality of the final product. The laboratory research facilities are located in the scientific park of the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).
